Refer someone, you both get £50 of credits

Supervisor has a referral programme, and it is not a token gesture. Send someone your link. When they pay for a plan, you both get £50 of credits.

Not £5. Fifty.

How it works

1. Grab your link from the referrals page in the dashboard. It looks like supervisor.gg/checkout?ref=YOURCODE.
2. Someone signs up through it.
3. When their first payment goes through, £50 of credits lands on both accounts.

That is the whole thing. No tiers, no thresholds, no cap on how many people you can refer.

The details worth knowing

It pays on the first payment, not on signup. A code can be applied by anyone with an account, and an account costs nothing, so paying at that moment would mean handing out credits to whoever could make the most email addresses.

If they start on a free trial, the reward waits for the trial to convert. A trial charges nothing and can be cancelled before it ever does, so there is no reward to pay yet. When the trial ends and the first payment goes through, both accounts get their £50 then. Nothing is lost by referring someone who trials first; it just arrives a few days later.

It pays once, and it stays paid. A referral rewards both sides a single time. If the person you referred later cancels, your credits are still yours. We are not clawing anything back.

The credits do not expire. They sit on your account as extra credits and are spent before your monthly allowance, so they are used up first rather than sitting unused while your plan credits refresh around them.

Both sides get the same amount. The person who shared the link and the person who used it get £50 each. Referring someone is not a way to profit off them; you both come out ahead.

Why so much

Two reasons, and the second one is the honest one.

The first is that credits cost us compute, not cash. We run our own hardware. Giving away £50 of moderation is giving away GPU time we already own, and we would rather spend it on someone who brought us a customer than on advertising.

The second is that we would rather pay you than pay for ads. Ad platforms take a fee for putting Supervisor in front of people who mostly do not want it. Someone who runs a Discord server and tells another server owner it works has done something advertising cannot: they vouched for it. That is worth more, so it should pay more.

For scale, £50 of credits is a bit under half a month of the Premium allowance, which is £120 of credits a month. It is a real amount without being silly.
