One plan, everything included

Supervisor used to sell three plans. From today it sells one: Premium, with every feature in it. The only thing left to choose is how often you pay.

The prices

BillingYou payWorks out atYou save
Monthly£13.99£13.99/month
Annual£83.85£6.99/month£84.03 (50%)
Triennial£179.65£4.99/month£323.99 (64%)

Savings are against paying monthly for the same length of time. There is no other difference between the three: same plan, same features, same credits.

Every one of them includes:

  • All three models, Observer, Sentinel and Arbiter, with no per model gating
  • Context-aware moderation, so a message is judged as part of a conversation instead of in isolation
  • Image moderation, including OCR on text inside images
  • Video moderation, which shipped this week
  • Implicit moderation, for content that is harmful without being explicit
  • Custom bot appearance for the Discord bot
  • Platform API access, the revenue share integration
  • £120 of credits, refreshed every month

Three days free

Monthly and annual both come with a three day free trial. A card is required and you are not charged during the trial, so if Supervisor is not right for your server you cancel and pay nothing. One trial per account.

Triennial does not offer one. Three free days in front of a three year commitment is not a trial, it is a trap, and neither of us wants that conversation with a bank.

Why we did this

The three plan ladder was quietly making the product worse.

The entry plan was £9.99 a month and gave you the Observer model plus context awareness. Image moderation, implicit moderation, custom bot appearance and the Sentinel model all sat on the £29.99 plan above it. Which meant the most common way to experience Supervisor was the version with most of it switched off, and plenty of people concluded that was all it did.

Splitting a moderation tool by capability also splits it in the wrong place. Nobody wants "moderation, but it ignores images". A server either wants its content checked or it does not.

So the ladder is gone. The new plan costs £13.99 a month, £4 more than the old entry plan, and includes everything the old £29.99 plan had plus everything above it. It also carries £120 of credits a month, against £13.33 of credits on the old £9.99 plan. On annual or triennial billing it costs less per month than the old entry plan did.

If you are already subscribed

Nothing changes. Your plan keeps working, keeps billing at the price you signed up at, and keeps its features. We are not migrating anyone or ending anything.

If you do want to move to Premium, the switch is prorated: whatever you have already paid for and not used is credited against the new price, and the change takes effect immediately rather than at the end of your term. It is a button on the billing page.

Quarterly billing is no longer offered to new subscribers. If you are on it, it keeps running as it is.

Try it

The three day trial is on the pricing page, and you can throw text at the models without an account at all on the demo.
